The beds had a hard mattress and were very comfortable. There were no smells in the room. I liked that the windows could open for fresh air There was a nice size refrigerator and low EMF in the room. The beach across the street was nice to walk along in the evening.
Tried to add on local taxes that were already paid. Stained chair in the room. No elevator to the 2nd floor. The check out person was very professional and easy to understand.
The pictures of the hotel online are very deceiving. The place is old and rundown. The service is sub par. I asked for two pillows and it turned into a negotiation with the front desk person. I quote, I give you one in the closet of the room”. I wasn’t aware a guest request was a negotiation. This hotel is not on the beach as advertised. You have to cross a highway to get to the beach. Once at the beach, it’s not maintained at all. The only thing toy has going for it, was that it was clean. Would not recommend to anyone stay here.

A very nice hotel on Lake Michigan. Walk across the road to a very nice beach. Two rooms for family of 6 with 2 children whom loved the pool and hot tub. Girl at desk was such a gem, considerate to husband disability needs and changed balcony room to lower level, room was awesome. Restaurant next door has excellent food. Great menu. We all really enjoyed our stay and will continue to go to Gray Wolf Lodge on our trips to WI for sure
Just stayed for the night. Economical for the purpose.
The front desk person was excellent. Fast check in and very personable. Pool/hot tub was very nice. Room was fair. Older, but clean. Entry door wouldn't close tight so road noise came through (property is right on a major highway). Fixed it by jamming a piece of cardboard in between the door and the jamb. Nice location with the lakeview from our second floor room. Restaraunt next door made getting breakfast and dinner easy and fast.
This was a very comfortable room with a breakfast restaurant right next door. We even got a 10% off breakfast coupon upon check in!
