The Grand Lodge, A Vail Resorts Property

The lodge isn’t fancy and could use some updating but for the price is a pretty good value. The room was spacious for two adults and two kids and I liked that it had a kitchenette area. It was comfortable. The pool and hot tub seem small for the amount of guests wanting to be in the hot tub after skiing. I still think, based on the rate we received, that it was a good value.

The hotel had plenty of parking but wouldn’t let you have the parking pass until you could check in. We had requested early check in but weren’t able to check in until 4. It seems silly to have to search for a parking spot for two hours when check out is at 11 so there were clearly spaces to park.

The location is great in crested butte. The staff were polite and as helpful as they could be. The hot tub is enjoyable.

Struggled to get our room cleaned since they didn't inform us upon check in that you had to request it. And then eventually, after I requested it, they told us if we wanted to clean the room, there was an additional charge. I have never heard of s hotel charging for cleaning your room. Also, there is a resort charge to park, use the pool, and use WiFi. But the Wi-Fi was terrible and not worth paying for. On my phone, I was logged out of the Wi-Fi since cell service was faster and more reliable.

Location and easy access to rooms

Overnight Parking. We were constantly threatened with fines and towing regardless of the fact there were a dozen or more empty spots throughout our stay. We also feel as if our 1 parking pass was never checked because of the snow and ice on the windshield. We don't blame the staff for the policy; however, the policy made us feel as if we were not welcome at all. As we tried to figure out parking extra vehicles we learned that the entire town is confused and frustrated by the lack of overnight parking. We spent a lot of money to be there and feel like we could have been treaded better by the entire town and resort regarding overnight parking.

Location is awesome

The room we got was not the room we booked. Way smaller than photos, not a kitchenette, not enough towels, soap, tp etc…. They were out of coffee, creamer etc… they tried to move us each day to a room that matched what we paid for but just couldn’t each day. We live this place but this was just unacceptable this time.
