Hotel's service is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Ancient traditional building

No air conditioning and too many different random light switches making it difficult to navigate the room. Also electrical outlets were substandard and difficult to work. The fan in the room did not function properly.

The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. The staffs are super helpful.

It is slightly noisy at night due to the location. So people who are sensitive with noise may consider bring a pair of earplugs.

Rooms to the street are rather loud

The staff are so extremely friendly and helpful. Many of them are college students who get training and experience here. The hotel is a social enterprise which supports the local community and trains the next generation of Nepal. The breakfast here is tasty and has many options. Obviously the old buildings and courtyard are lovely. You have options to stay in the original old building or the new building with more space and modern facilities. I think both are very nice.

It's in a very noisy area. The nearby streets are always busy, and the hotel is merely two meters away from other houses. The windows are not soundproof and you'd hear dogs, pigeons, motorcycles, cars, neighbors, etc, day and night. If you are a light sleeper, it may not be pleasant for you.

Everything. Great place! Excellent breakfast and lovely, kind staff! Highly recommend staying there! The rooms are stunning and clean. Although in the middle of town, still has a very calm and quiet vibe. Will be staying back when we in town again!
