A second handrail should be installed on the stairs because I almost fell down.

I have mixed emotions about my stay here. First of all, the facilities are really great. The bathroom is westernized, which I really like. They have a better pool compared to other nearby resorts. The outside facilities are also great for chilling after a tiring day of travelling or just because. Lastly, the staff is kind and amazing. They bought instant coffee for me when I was craving it and did not even ask me to pay for it. I may stay here again because of them.

The air conditioning and the response I got when seeking help via messaging them here! First, let me just say that I am 100% aware that the island is in a state of calamity because of a serious power shortage. I know that. That's why I conserve energy during the day by not leaving any items on. However, considering the price I paid, and my experience in a nearby cheaper accommodation that has a generator allowing me to enjoy the air-conditioned room every night, I did not expect that I would be experiencing a whole night without an air conditioner! For the price I paid, I would expect them to have some kind of strong generator. They do have solar panels, but why did I still suffer all night? I stayed in the KL room (check the photos), and you can see that it has no ventilation AT ALL. No windows AT ALL. I had to leave the doors open, exposing me and my things to people and mosquitoes. The ladies were kind enough to give me a rechargeable fan. But it died down around 5am. I was sooo uncomfortable after that. Also, before that, I had to stay and sleep outside until 9 pm because I was told the power might come back on around 9pm. But it didn't. So I gave in and retired to my hot room, leaving my door open. But when I couldn't take it anymore, that's when I asked for a fan. Lastly, what really pissed me off was the reply I got when I messaged them that night asking for help. They replied the next day at noon with a dismissive response. Thanks for the reply, but where were you when I was struggling and uncomfortable in one of your rooms? So, yeah, like I said, I have mixed emotions. I really liked my stay until the last night, which totally ruined my experience. I splurged because I wanted to have a relaxing holiday. But no, I was unhappy on the second night. Again, the Filipino staff were terrific and also apologetic when I told them about my situation. Honestly, they are why I am still rating this accommodation higher than it should be.

Fantastically welcoming people who would do anything for you. Very relaxing and quiet. Great diving. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays have very loud music next door but we were well informed in advance and enjoyed it.

Room is on the small side but it's clean and functional
