First time in Palau. The location is good. It's convenient to go to nearby restaurants and shops to buy water or something eles. And breakfast offer every morning.

Large room with everything you need, including a small kitchen, fridge, and a table to work. Stefanie, the manager was quite helpful and responsive.

There’s no proper sign of the hotel, the entrance way difficult to find but the neighbors were helpful. There’s no reception or common area.

This was the most affordable place to stay in Palau, an obvious choice for a backpacker/budget traveler like me. I liked that the room was spacious, well furnished and came with a kitchen, aircon and stable wifi. It was nice I could store my bags there on the last day after the check out. The landlady was friendly and helpful, and responded promptly to my messages.

The place is rather far from the centre of Koror and supermarkets. No vegetarian option in the breakfast menu, I was glad I was offered an alternative - groceries, which, however, made for much more simple breakfast than offered in the menu but happy I had something to eat for a few days.

I loved the staff. Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. From helping with internet issues when the entire island was struggling, driving me to the big grocery store during a rain storm when I had an urgent need, checking in to make sure I got food, and just genuinely being a friend... she's amazing. The bed is super comfy, the AC blows cold air, the shower is warm, the kitchen functions, and the internet works in every room (when it works) Also the breakfast from the Korean restaurant downstairs is authentic and delicious, and the portions in the bento boxes are massive.

What I didn't like was out of their control. So these are not reflections on the place. Read them only as setting expectations before arriving in Palau. Power and internet going down island wide made for some problems. She has no control over the stability of the island, obviously - so warning to other remote workers... the island infrastructure is very on/off if you need consistent connectivity - even cell service drops with esims. But Stephanie went out of her way to help me overcome them to the best of her ability. Islands, in general, dont typically have insulated walls, so noise carries. All noise. If you're a light sleeper, no matter where you stay on the island, bring noise canceling devices. Again, there is nothing she can do about that - it's island life.
