Very quaint.

The man on reception was incredibly rude what I had mixed up the dates on the booking. There was no need for it after travelling a long distance to see a sick relative we were exhausted. There were plenty of rooms available so I am not sure why such a big deal was made about it !

"Quite grand hotel, uncomfortable bed"

Location - 10 minutes walk from the rail station. Hotel was quite grand in terms of internal decor. A lot of decorative plaster in hallways etc. Room was good size. Bathroom OK. WiFi worked well.

Bed was rather low and quite uncomfortable. Towels a little worn but clean. Would rather have seen handsoap and shower gel dispensers rather than individual use items.
