The main issue with this hotel was the staff and administration. When one reserves on booking.com it is said that your card maybe charged a pre-payment. As we booked on the day of arrival, we did not know if the card would be charged. As we requested the reception to charge the whole amount from the card used on booking.com, they refused and mentioned that they had no access to their account there. Additionally they asked for 20$ more than the amount we had on our reservation, mentioning that the conversion rates are changing, which did not make sense. The ended up agreeing to the same amount only if we pay cash. They also refused to provide us with a receipt of the payment, and added some racist statements as well. So, in summary, I strongly recommend other travelers to stay away from this hotel. I am certain you can find a better service in the same price range.

The ambience of the hotel is striking, and so are the bar and outside area. The view too is splendid from the terrace.

The hotel needs a renovation soon, as it's clearly been a while and age hasn't been kind to it. The room's bathrooms are particularly small and the bathroom door for example wasn't functional at all.

Breakfast was good and the garden is cute

worst hotel I've ever been, the room smells moist already at entrance. The bathroom is so small you can't even sit on the toilet and if you shower everything gets wet. The bathroom is super dirty and there is mold everywhere. In addition our room number 5 had a window right next to the space where the employees do their breaks so even with the curtains everyone can see in your room. Is also smells like food and cigarettes if you open the window but the window is the only source of air because there is no ventilation...
