Dafong Hotel

The location was really nice. I loved how close it was to the walking trails in the area. Very easy to get there. The room and hotel were clean, staff very friendly and helpful.

A bit too cramped. No individual AC unit controller

The room was small, but not too small. In comparison the bathroom was very big. The toilet had a heated seat, which was nice, since the bathroom was quite cold. The bed was comfortable, especially with the heated mattress (the nap after sunrise needed that warmth). The room had a dehumidifier, which I happily used. The window has a screen to keep insects out, so you can open the window for some fresh air to keep the room from getting stuffy. I chose this hotel since it was recently renovated and most negative reviews seem to be from before this renovation. I am happy I did. Value for money was good, especially with all the tips from staff. They advised me on the best route to explore a lot of the park and I ended up going mostly downhill, which was a dream and I didn't overpay for bus/train tickets. They also offer sunrise and firefly tours (the latter only when it's the season for it). I did the firefly tour and it was good. I could safely store my luggage before and after checkout. Would choose to stay here again.

When I got into the room it had several mosquitoes and some flies. Some bugspray took quick care of them.

It is expected but still wish the room can be a bit bigger because we do have luggages.
