Sahari Zanzibar

Sahari is the most beautiful resort we have ever stayed at. The resort is itself nestled in the sand right on the beach and is a quiet little oasis from the outside world. The staff were absolutely wonderful and felt more like friendly hosts, we cannot thank everyone at Sahari enough for looking after us during our honeymoon. The restaurant is very good and we had many days out organised at the excursions desk which were wonderful - our sunset dhow cruise in particular was very special thanks to the brilliant people at Sahari.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem ganz ganz tollen Hotel. Es war so gut wie alles perfekt - die ruhige Lage unmittelbar am schönen Strand, das Restaurant mit Blick aufs Meer, das unendlich freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, was dabei nicht aufgesetzt wirkte…ich könnte ewig so weitermachen, von der süßesten Katze ,,Ginger“ ganz abgesehen. Eine große Empfehlung spreche ich für das Essen aus. Es lohnt sich also, Halbpension zu buchen! Sowohl zum Frühstück als auch zum Dinner kann man sich alles Mögliche von dem Menü aussuchen. Das hatten wir vorher noch nie. Zusätzlich gibt es Trinkwasser 24/7! Diesen Service werden wir vermissen. Vielen vielen Dank Sahari Sansibar 🥰

Das Einzige was wir wirklich bemängeln können, ist die Geräuschkulisse in unserem Zimmer mit Meerblick. Davon gibt es 2 und sie befinden sich direkt über Restaurant/Küche. Für geräuschempfindliche Menschen können wir diese Zimmer trotz wundervoller Ausstattung und der Aussicht leider nicht empfehlen, da wir bis spät Abends und ab dem frühen Morgen viel von unten gehört haben. Dann doch lieber ein Standardzimmer und dafür mehr Ruhe.

We had a great stay. The hotel is right on the beach and has a beautiful pool with very comfortable lounging areas. The food was great, especially the Mama Africa dish. On one of the nights there was live music which was very entertaining, is was fun to dance with the staff! The staff was super nice, everyone was very sweet and attentive, especially Christina!♥️

Le personnel incroyable toujours le sourire et à votre écoute La nourriture est très bonne petit plus au potatoes crispy du breakfast Donnant sur la plage on peut soit choisir la mer soit la piscine qui est idéale pour passer un bon moment La chambre avait une vue Mer qui était incroyable

Petit bémol la chambre est au-dessus des cuisines et le matin on entend légèrement les préparatifs du petit déjeuner assez tot

Tout Un havre de paix à zanzibar Hôtel magnifique à taille humaine ou l’on se sent chez soi Personnel adorable attentionné souriant…. Chambres très propres Cuisine excellente et copieuse Nous avons pris quasi tous nos repas sur place Nous sommes partis à regret de cet hôtel mais nous reviendrons

The hotel is beautiful and matched the pictures perfectly. In the morning you can swim in the ocean, and lounge by the pool or walk to the more popular village in the afternoon. For me, it was the perfect balance of tranquility where I stay, with the option of walking to great restaurants and good shops. The staff is also very kind, and the massage was one of the best I ever got.

Not a bad thing, but if you want 24h access to the ocean this is not the place. The tide goes up and low depending on the time, and this may affect your ability to swim. I’d stay in the ocean all day if I could, so this was something that I wish I knew. Still, the pool area is magnificent, and you can still enjoy the times of low tide in other ways.

Fantastic room with a deck overlooking the beach and ocean, great spacious bath, cool A/C, comfortable bed, good food at the restaurant. Great staff, very helpful and pleasant.

Very isolated (you could go on many different adventures from the hotel but I just wanted to chill after a number of safaris) I wish they had a selection of pillows. there were other places to eat but I didn't try.
