Veraclub Sunset Beach

The location was nice.

Constantly hassled on the beach. Venue charges 6% extra for all payments made by card. We were told there was an a la crate menu, this consisted of only margarita pizza. One staff member asked us directly for a tip.

Beautiful beach. One of the best placed hotels on Zanzibar. Mainly italians there. Which means good food and amazing cofee!

Perfectly located on the Nungwi beach, it’s a beautiful, tranquil resort with friendly and helpful staff. A lovely family holiday, with something to do for all ages.

I wanted to share my wonderful experience staying at Veraclub during our family trip to Zanzibar. The location was nothing short of magical, as it was conveniently close to restaurants. The amazing team there was always ready to assist us in English, thx Marco & Paola 🙏They went above and beyond by recommending fantastic places to eat nearby, making our dining experiences truly memorable. The icing on the cake was the beautiful beach accessible during low tide – a true slice of amazing Zanzibar right at our doorstep.

Great ambience, serene, beautiful and well designed villas. I loved the architecture and style of the property. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Perfect place for a vacation.

The location is the only thing good about it

It is not mentioned anywhere that this is an Italian Club Med style hotel. Everything was focused on Italians so we felt very unwelcome. The staff (except for the lady at the reception upon arrival) was rude and unfriendly. The room was extremely plain and the beds totally uncomfortable with disgusting bedding. The curtains did not even close. Breakfast was below all standards, flies all over the fruit. Upon arrival (around 4 pm) there was no option to eat anything.

The location is exceptional. Absolutely stunning hotel right on a magnificent beach.

The hotel felt soulless to us. It looks very beautiful and is well kept but it has no soul. We opted for bed and breakfast, luckily, as this was very basic. When we asked how much it would be to dine there they said 25 dollars per person! We were a family of four. We looked at the food and it did not look like you could eat 25 dollars worth of food…..there are lots of lovely eating places very close to the hotel which we went to.
