Absolutely lovely homestay with excellent, friendly hosts. This is such a relaxing, sweet place to be and we wish we had more time to enjoy. They have a restaurant onsite with lots of food options as well as a great bar/restaurant across the street with more options. The hosts truly care about their guests and helped us with some transportation hiccups which was over and above. A+++ for this homestay! Great value!

Amazing and caring host made us feel right at home. Linh with family and cute dog provides a real homestay experience in every extent of the word. Bus stop right outside makes the trip to Cat Ba town a piece of cake. Nice lounge area and pool to relax by. Wonderful value for money.

Not the greatest food or most pristine cleaning and our room wasn’t the most quiet but these are just tiny remarks on an overall great experience. Still slept very well.

Linh was an amazing host. From the first moment we arrived she helped us in every possible way. We rented a motorbike with her, she organized the bus leaving cat ba and also the tours on the island. Can recommend this place since it is also very quiet and cozy.

Unfortunately I have a sensitive sleep and near bungalow have a road with car, for me it was noisy.

Absolutely loved our stay at Rustic Homestay on Cat Ba Island! Linh and her family made us feel right at home, assisting with everything from motorbike rentals to booking an incredible kayaking trip and our bus back to Hanoi. Linh is incredibly resourceful and knowledgeable, always ready with the solution to any problem and plenty of helpful information. We can’t wait to return, and I highly recommend Rustic Homestay to anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful time on Cat Ba.

The place is clean and comfortable and it’s well located if you want to stay away from the busy town centre. In addition the host helps you with anything you might need. She told us how to get to the place, we rented a motorbike from them and we also booked a tour and our transfer back to mainland with them. We were so comfortable we ended up staying two more night than we planned.

The property was perfectly maintained and there was always someone there to help us out. Ling was a fantastic host and very helpful about tours and everything. The food was also fantastic and super tasty.
