The staff is welcoming and freindly.

When we check-in at 14:20 the room was not ready. The room was given someone else while we were suppose to check in on Friday the 21 September 2024. The N3 road to Pietermaritsburg was closed due to the snow. We were stuck in the road from 10:00 pm until the follwing day at 11:20 also the mooir river road was closed we had to wait three hours for the rosd to be open hence we arrive at 14:20 at the Lodge. The lodge benefited twice for the same room which we had paid for it without being given a refund for the 21 September 2024. There is wind coming rom under the door, they only given us one shampoo and soap without the shower jail. Ther is water on the staird to the door without carpet to wipe your shoes. Coming to the room with water and it is slippering in the room.

Your Place is beautiful, and it is close to N3, I always enjoy your breakfast. On a lighter there two cute dogs that kept company whilst looking for a room

I spent an hour in the evening looking for our family room. we tried looking for the security unfortunately we were told he is on leave on 07/09/24.

The location of Blue Haze is ideal as a stop-over. I loved the view and that they offered a restaurant facility. My room was cosy, and I was very grateful for the heater on the wall as it did get a little cold.

The lodge could pay attention to finer details to bring a little more finesse to what is a beautiful property with loads of potential.
