Fathoms Hotel & Marina

I live at 35,000 feet, or in a hotel room, or Uber. Its fabulous to nest in a place when I feel right at home, put the feet up and enjoy the view... this venue nails all my wish-list wants for re-visiting my childhood sailingf haunts on Manhasset Bay... The duet hosts here are fabulous; let's get em cloned! IF I want to do a family reunion with my clan, raised in nearby Plandome NY, I'm taking all 6 room suites and openig up the Champers! I love the 'on the house' ammenites and snacks in the common area livingi room! We Shall, Return!

What a find!!! I felt like I was staying at someone's home (only better)! Steve & Cindie were amazing and made us feel like friends. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. All the little touches were amazing. The location is phenomenal, right on the water with amazing sunsets. 100% recommend.. We can't wait to go back.

The hosts greeted me on arrival and showed me around, asked what I wanted for breakfast the next day, and couldn't have been more cordial. The room was wonderful with adjustable lighting, inviting bedding, a teak chair in the shower and was very clean and beautifully appointed. The property was immaculate with comfortable chairs and an amazing view of the waterfront. They helped me with my luggage. I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay.

Spacious room/bathroom, comfortable bed, great amenities, very welcoming hosts, good continental breakfast, and spectacular view of the water with deck access and dock. It’s a great spot for birdwatching; the outdoor areas have great comfy seating.

Excellent lodging option. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was cozy. And a nice large bathroom…but the best part was the private dock on the water. Superb place for birding and watching the osprey go fishing.

This is a very nice place if you’re looking for a quiet, non-tourist venue. The vibe is really nice and the host is very welcoming and friendly. Having a breakfast looking over the water is simply fabulous. You get the best of what one might expect in a boutique style hotel

Our family had a terrific stay at Fathom’s. Steve was attentive to every detail, meeting us at check in to help with our bags, providing terrific recommendations for where to eat/ what to do, and serving up delicious pastries for breakfast. The views are killer, and Steve gave us the tip to call the water taxi for pick up at the marina, for an amazing sunset ride. We would absolutely stay at Fathom’s again!

Extremely uncomfortable experience. Rooms are clean with a decent location. My issue was with the owner Steve who for some reason felt it was within his right to speak to me from the first night with the most disrespectful manner i have encountered in a hotel stay. I had rented 2 rooms paying $1000, per night but was made to feel so uncomfortable from day 1 that it ruined my stay. There is a cordial way to speak to your customers that is typically something those in the hospitality business are familiar with, a shame Steve has not grasped this. I will say both times I was approached with his ill mannered demeanor there was a weird aploogy after in a text after the first night, then as I was packing my car to leave. You already ruined my experience at your hotel at this point so really not sure what you were trying to accomplish here? Perhaps preventing me from sharing the truth of my experience on sites like this? Unfortunately that did not work, as I said you ruined my 3 day stay mutliple times with your rude manner. My last night having two couples over where we did nothing but sit on deck to chat and to be approached in the manner we were was absolutely disgusting and a shame for you as both couples were planning stays at your hotel which they quickly dismissed that idea after their encounter with you. Imagine 3 adult couples chatting on a deck on a Saturday night at 9:30 being told they need to immediately leave! In a tone that left everyone speachless and me mortified. People work hard for their vacation and when they select a place to enjoy it in, it is your responsibility that they have a pleasant experience, We were nothing but cordial to you and your wife from the start there was absolutely no reason to have treated me as you did, your lame apologies after the fact were just that lame and self serving.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! Fathoms Hotel & Marina is a hidden gem—gorgeous location in a beautiful town along the north shore of Long Island. My husband, Mike, and I were guests over an extended Mother's Day weekend, and we had such a great experience. Every detail is lovingly attended to by the hosts, Cindie & Steve. Both made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable by welcoming us with snacks and drinks, a delicious breakfast, and offering many excellent suggestions for restaurants and parks. Our room was clean, fresh, and bright, and the bed and linens were top notch!!
