Fathoms Hotel & Marina

Fathoms is an impeccably maintained and operated hotel. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed. My room had a private patio with a fantastic view of the harbor. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Cindie and Steve and made to feel at home as if I was their house guest. Any need or want was provided. I would highly recommend Fathoms.

Fathoms is a lovely, comfortable and welcoming place to stay -- much preferable to larger hotels with their impersonal approach to guests. The owners clearly care about the needs and preferences of their guests. They have done a great deal to make their hotel more sustainable which is, sadly, not common in this business. I would recommend Fathoms to anyone looking for a place to stay in western Long Island!

The Fathom Hotel has become our home away from home. I feel like we are visiting family. Cindie and Steve run a First Class operation. We started staying here when we gave up our place in Long Island. HONESTLY staying at the Fathom is easier than having our own place as everything is done for us. This place is a HIDDEN GEM. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, GREAT LOCATION, CLEAN and I LOVE THE BEDDING.

Cindie and Steve are remarkable hosts who create a relaxed, premium, and personalized vacation experience. My weekend was fantastic and I look forward to my next visit!

great staff and unique property

Fathoms Hotel & Marina was a delightful surprise. The owners were very considerate and responsive to our needs. My husband has a down allergy and they brought in all new bedding for us. The room was gorgeous and extremely comfortable. The food was perfect just like you would have at home but just a bit better because you are not home. The location is great and unique. We can’t wait to stay again.

My husband and I had an absolutely perfect stay at Fathoms Hotel on our wedding night. Cindie and Steve were the most gracious hosts, and we cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. We were made to feel right at home, and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We look forward to many more stays at Fathoms in the future!

This was the best hotel at which we've stayed. The owners, Cindie and Steve, could not be more attentive or friendly. Everything was excellent. Additionally, it was fun taking the water taxi across the bay to Dirty Tacos Restaurant, which was also excellent.

This is the best kept secret (no longer) in Port Washington. The most spectacular views in the morning obviously if booking a room facing the bay. The most spacious rooms with a superior shower and above all the Molton Brown amenities, so so wonderful. The owners Steve and his so wife Cindie are the kindest and accommodating people I have ever encounted. You will choose your breakfast, bagel, croissant, scone, and cereal... Just wonderful and served in a beautiful bag in front of your door. There is a coffee machine Nespresso and all kinds of teas. We have stayed at the Fathoms several times and are always somewhat sad to leave, it is just spectacular. Very small hotel so fills up very quickly, you will love it.

We highly recommend Fathoms Hotel and Marina. The room was extremely comfortable and the water view was wonderful, particularly the beautiful sunsets. Excellent restaurants nearby, with water taxis and sailing options at the end of the dock. The owners, Steve and Cindie, are gracious hosts. They have considered every detail and made our stay memorable.
