Hotel Minturn

the room what well appointed -that is it .

the room was in the basement with no way to adjust the temperature. did not sleep at all. had a coffee machine with no cups. directions for parking were way too complicated.

Unusual self-service hotel with I believe 4 rooms. Central location in beautiful old mining town. I noted parking was not a problem, contrary to earlier evaluations. Room was excellent. Had problem with coffee-maker, but service replaced faulty unit.

The in-floor heating was impossible to control. It was overly warm in the night - confirmed during conversation with other guest.

The location, it was quiet.

There were no drinking glasses at all, no coffee mugs, the toilet was loose & rocked, no face plates on the many of the outlets for light switches, the bed squeeked, the toilet paper holder didn't stay in position and every time it was used, the toilet paper fell off of the holder. The small sofa had cushions that had sunk down on the sofa and was very uncomfortable (really shouldn't have been there as it was useless and took up space.

quiet because none of the other rooms were rented.

none of the windows locked and my fiancé didn’t sleep well because of it. We went out and when we came back the door code didn’t work. We tried it several times. It was late and we didn’t know who to call, so I checked the window and it opened from the street. This is how we discovered none of the windows locked.

Close proixmity to Vail. Quiet place

Parking. You are not supposed to park anywhere close to the place, even though there were parking spaces all around that were never used the whole time I was there.

A great base to ski Vail and Beaver Creek and explore the Vail Valley. The spacious room feels like a home, with a comfy bed, soft sheets, and a big bathroom. It's a short walk to any of Minturn's fun restaurants and bars. I will definitely be coming back.
