Bai Dinh Riverside Resort & Spa

Great location to relax as you are about 30 mins drive away from the main town. However, the resort is a short bicycle ride to Bai Dinh temple complex. Lovely and attentive staff.

The open bathroom did not offer much privacy.

Beautiful resort with clean rooms. Service was 10/10 and always very helpful. The only downside is that is a bit far from the city center, but this was the nicest hotel in the area so we decided to go with this one.

The staff is amazing. Local people from the near bu village with good hearts and making you feel like home. Food was very good, fresh and local delicacies. Room clean and comfortable.

All was good but one needs a way to move around either with local taxies the reception can organize or by car.

The staff are super friendly and supportive. They know how to compensate when unexpected issues occur.

The complex is small but very well appointed, with pool, gym, spa and nicely landscaped gardens. We selected the Family Villa as there were 6 of us, my wife, myself and our 2 eight-year-old children, plus my wife's parents. The villa was again, very well appointed and very spacious, 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms lounge and dining area. Two of the bedrooms and the lounge area overlooked the countryside, whilst the third bedroom and dining area overlooked the pool. The mini fridge was well stocked and there was complimentary fruit & wine. Everything you'd expect from a 5-star hotel was in the villa, toiletries, bathrobes, towels, iron, ironing board, safe, etc., they even provided umbrellas!! The food in the restaurant was very good with quite an extensive menu choice, even for my wife who is vegetarian. As the meals are freshly made, do not expect a 5-minute turn around on your order. They also deliver to your room, which I must say we did take advantage of for one of our meals having spent the day sightseeing around the beautiful scenery. The hotel staff are really friendly and cannot do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. Transport to the tourist attractions can be arranged through the hotel and I have to say this is something really worth considering as it made our lives an awful lot easier and hassle free. There is so much to see and do around the area, 2 nights was not enough, but hey ho, what better excuse to return again the next time we visit the area, which we all definitely intend doing.

There was nothing that I didn't dislike apart from running out of time to do everything we would have liked to do, plus I didn't manage to try out the spa.

Really lovely helpful staff! We loved the pool facilities and the room was lovely! Lots of nature around and in a beautiful spot! Restaurant was a little pricy but the food was delicious! All in all we absolutely loved our stay here! Would absolutely return!

Out only real issue was the sheer curtain that was the only thing that separated the bed from the bathroom so there was a full view of the toilet which we found a little uncomfortable! Not a complaint but the resort is a little far from the main towns but we knew this beforehand and the staff organised for us scooters which were a lot of fun and it was really easy to get to all the sites with them! We actually preferred being out a little bit!
