They did charged double on my credit card

The hotel is bright and spacious and so was the room. I had the impression this would have been a good choice in the past, and maybe it will be again later, but not right now. The lady who checked me in was nice, the one who checked me out was not.

The construction work along the seafront is of course not the hotel’s fault, but they have no right to allow you to book and pay extra for a seaview room when the view is just a construction site. There were almost no other guests. There was almost no breakfast, certainly nothing worth getting up for. There was work being done in the hotel, with banging and drilling starting at 7am. There was almost no hot water in the shower. The final insult was when they tried to charge me for using the two small bottles of water that were left on the sideboard. Anybody planning to stay in Cat Ba Town should be aware that the bay has been filled in and reclaimed, there is massive construction going on along the waterfront which is now 200m further back than shown in maps, and none of the “seafront” hotels is actually on the seafront any longer.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was great, and the location was perfect. We’ll definitely come back next time. I was especially impressed with the view from our room. Highly recommend!

Very little hot water or water pressure in the shower. The rain head doesn’t work Leak under the shower so Water all over the bathroom floor No bath gel or shampoo in the bottles Power went out all night The included breakfast was on a menu and very limited, our “omelette” was 2 fried eggs. Hard mattress Loud music at night from inside the building No soundproofing between floors so we could hear them walking and running around above us. Karaoke in the restaurant went on all night Loud bar next door

An exceptional hotel with outstanding staff! The room is large, spacious, and clean, with breakfast included. There’s a restaurant nearby as well.

The hotel was adequate for what I needed for a couple of nights. Location was good, near to some restaurants The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi was excellent. Staff were courteous and kind There was a lot of construction going on, on the beachfront, which meant that the view on that side was not great at all. Surprised by other reviews saying that the view was great, when actually it was a building site. Hopefully in future years, there will be an amazing view, particularly of the sunset. A safe was available, although needed a key which house keeping provided once I informed them of the lack of key. Breakfast was adequate, with a small amount of choice from a menu. C
