Gikgo Can Tho

The host is absolutely amazing, a true angel! She was always there for us and helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, the place was clean and the location very convenient. Overall we had a wonderful time in Can Tho and couldn’t be happier!

Great location and facilities for a really fair price! Used this as our main hub while visiting Can Tho and the surrounding area and it was perfect. The best part was Kate, who runs a great business and had excellent English (much better than what I encountered even in HCMC). She was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout our stay, not just to run a good business but because it's clear she just cares about people. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an affordable and friendly place to stay in the area.

The host Kate is incredibly kind, and it really feels like she cares that you have a great time. The floating market tour she arranged was excellent. It's a very authentic experience of a local Vietnamese house, for better or worse, if that's what you're looking for. The provided breakfast and drinks are great.

The bathrooms are a bit cramped.

Beautiful accomodation in the Perfect Location. Kate is an amazing host, and helps you with anything! I would definitely recommend staying here! :) She also organised a very nice day tour to the Floating markets with a great local Guide. Thanks so much again! :)

We had such a beautiful stay at Kate’s place. The really clean and lovely decorated room made us feel like home. The location is nice because it’s in a quiet neighbourhood but also really close to the city centre. Kate is such a lovely and welcoming person and organised an amazing day tour in the Mekong-Delta for us. I would highly recommend her homestay! :)

Kate is a such a hospitable host. She was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but filling. You choose what you'd like the night before so it is ready for you the following morning. Kate also arranged a tour to the floating market and other stops with Ruby. I would highly recommend this tour, Ruby was so knowledgable and I learned a lot during the tour. The room is tucked away in an alley so it was quiet. The location was perfect for us because it was in a more authentic neighborhood area than the touristy downtown area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested.

Gikgo is a very nice homestay in a quite alley. Kate is a wonderful host, always helpful and informative. We booked a Tour with Ruby and she picked us up right at the homestay and guided us through a wonderful day in the delta. There is a great food street nearby an the citycenter is approx. 20 min by foot. Grab taxis were also readily available.

I got an upgrade and a bigger room which was nice. The service is helpful but I honestly don't understand the crazy good reviews. My questions were answered but not really very helpful. It was a decent stay, think it is quite expensive for what it is compared to other places around in the area.

Bathroom could use a renovation. There isn't any place to leave your luggage so it just stays in the lobby where everyone can access it. Not really a nice area to stay in. I would recommend being closer to the river and market.

Charming small place in a backalley, very friendly proprietor (english-spoken, even gave us a snack for our long busride). the bathroom facilities are simple but were very clean. All in all very good value for the price. Would stay here again.
