Very nice hotel and clean hotel! Both breakfast and especially food at the restaurant are outstanding with high quality dishes! Marisa and Simone, the owners, are great hosts!

Super nettes Personal. Die Inhaberin hilft in allen Lebenslagen, weit über das normale Maß hinaus. Marisa erkundigte sich immer nach unserem Wohlbefinden und hatte immer gute Tipps und Ratschläge parat. Wir haben uns dort sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns hiermit nochmals bei Marisa und Simon für ihre Gastfreundschaft, Hilfe und Fürsorge nach meinem medizinischen Notfall.

Merissa e Simone sono due padroni di casa impeccabili: gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. La struttura é accogliente, pulita e curata nei minimi dettagli, a due passi dalla meravigliosa spiaggia di Jambiani. Il fiore all’occhiello é senza dubbio la cucina di Simone. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno in totale relax .. assolutamente consigliato! Francesca e Daniele

Perfect location for a safe and beautiful beach destination. The daily short walk through the local village to the beach was one of the highlights of my stay as the locals were so friendly and I was able to have a little glimpse into village life as people went about their day. A short walk from the village were some local craft shops and stores. The beach was quiet and picturesque, equally nice for sunbathing or walking with nearby options for kite surfing or snorkelling. The hotel was impeccably clean, the rooms had everything you could need and really comfy beds and seating areas. The pool was cleaned daily and was really nice to swim in. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I chose half board as others had got poorly from eating from nearby restaurants/ street food. At Aurora they use filtered water for drinks, ice, cooking etc. The menu was fresh and changed daily and the food was of a very high restaurant standard, with fresh fish, meat and Italian dishes as options. The area is a good balance of locals and few tourists. Being a short walk from the beach was a blessing as the tide can come in high, it can get windy and at night it is pitch black. . The owners, Marissa and Simon do all they can to personalise your stay, always available to chat, offer advise or book tours/taxis etc, I felt nothing was too much trouble and they supported their staff like they were family. They arranged for my transfers, helped me change gdp and booked a once in a lifetime day on the mainland for me to do a safari for my birthday. I highly recommend staying here for a local yet "looked after" experience.

Other reviews have mentioned the pet cats and dog, Django, but to me these were a blessing, Django is a very calm, well trained and relaxed pet dog but makes you feel safe at night as he will always let you know if someone comes into the garden, (there is also an all night security guard), and the cats were mostly sleeping which added to the relaxing ambiance. I didn't like leaving, but I hope to return one day and will certainly stay here.

Appena concluso il nostro soggiorno presso questa struttura e che dire.. Merissa e Simone, i due hosts, ci hanno fatto davvero sentire a casa. Grazie alla loro gentilezza, disponibilità e cortesia, ci è stata regalata un’esperienza unica. Simone, lo chef della struttura, ci ha deliziato con i suoi menú sempre diversi, di qualità e soprattutto completamente home-made, offrendo ad ogni pasto un momento di piacere. Merissa, dall’altro lato, è stata impeccabile nel preoccuparsi di proprici le attività piu interessanti e indimenticabili, organizzando transfer assolutamente puntuali e disponibili, che ci hanno permesso di scoprire le bellezze di quest’isola . La struttura, infine, è bella, pulita, ospitale e funzionante, a 2’ a piedi dalla spiaggia. In definitiva l’Aurora Boutique Hotel è assolutamente consigliato e non abbiamo dubbi sul dove andare dovessimo tornare a Zanzibar. Grazie per il vostro affetto. Alessandro e Monica

La struttura è molto curata, accogliente, pulita e si trova in una zona tranquilla e ben servita (negozi,bar, mini market). Dista pochi minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Marissa e Simon sono molto gentili e disponibili, abbiamo avuto bisogno di un consulto medico e ci hanno consigliato e supportato in questa esigenza.la cucina con chef italiano è molto consigliata e tutto lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile
