"Next time I will try a room in the lodge instead of a cabin."

The lodge is beautiful, in the brown county state park forest, with its own restaurant attached. The indoor pool/ waterpark was THE perk for us.

I’m older and more sensitive than I used to be but the mattress in the cabin was clearly a $99 special, maybe a $49 one, and therefore, I slept little and woke up sore. The cabin smelled a little which I presumed to be due to ill-use but could have been mildew

"Nasty, rude, moldy"

Check into my budget cabin. Found 2 ticks in the bed and a lot of mouse poop all over my room. Went to talk to the front desk and the lady’s response was well we have ticks and mice here. No sorry no nothing she was blonde probably in there late 40s. We checked in April 16th around 5 pm.
