Exceptional value for money and a great holiday spot in the mountains. Food and atmosphere was stunning. Great overall experience.

Excellent location, lots of eye candy in terms of nature and scenery, beautiful views of the mountains, very peaceful and restful. Loved the Quad bike route led by the guide. Lots of activities to keep yourself occupied. Staff was friendly, and rooms picked up attentively. Meals on the lunch menu had a good variety and decently priced with good servings. (Please note that lunches are not part of the meal plan, but worth it, photos attached)

I'm not a fan of the alacarte offering provided at the Nest. Although the meals are well prepared, they were too small for my usual serving and had to request a 2nd plate for supper and breakfast on the half board meal plan included. Very rigid with the menu in my experience. We requested to change our gnocchi for rice for dietary reasons, but was told that it was not possible, only to later see that rice was served on the table opposite us. The restaurant does not operate all the time, so if you feel like eating anytime in-between, you need to leave the premises to go eat out. This was the case when I arrived at 15:30 on Saturday after our four and a half hour journey from Mpumalanga. The toilet in the room that we stayed in is an open plan, something that we were not a fan of. This would have easly been a 10 rating, if the meals were offered in a buffet and the toilet was properly partitioned.
