Turkey Run Inn & Cabins

The Inn is within the Turkey Run State Park. We had all our meals at the restaurant. Great staff, food, and prices. The beds, bedding, and linens were comfortable. I think the bathrooms have been remodeled since I was there 4 years ago. The shower was really nice. There are group gathering spaces that are a bonus. We enjoyed the veranda on the second floor that overlooks the front entrance. Parking is convenient, and the trails are scenic and beautiful.

The pool was closed and we were not informed on the booking websites .. very disappointed. Hotel restaurant was too expensive for us. Kind staff! Bed very uncomfortable. But overall, we liked the staff and location. Just spent a lot of $$$ for no amenities and discomfort.

I thought the French toast sticks were overcooked. A little pricey. Service was excellent

No internet, no TV, coffee maker did not work, asking for help with the above was a curt and rude reply. The a/c was extremely cold or the smell of mildew, bedding pillows either smelled of old baby vomit or old dirty pillows. I did speak to management today and was heard and compensated. The park itself is amazingly beautiful, the accommodation was not.

Size and feature of room. Nature environment. Good proximity of cabin to lodge/dining and parking.

Shower is a little small. Passkey to room was unfamiliar. With outside noise, difficult to hear actuation tone when using card. With outside lighting, difficult to see actuation light.

The rooms were great. I loved that they had a fridge and microwave. I also loved that the hotel is within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was also so fun, very nice, and affordable.

My only complaint is the food. We bring some our own food, but like to go to the restaurant in the hotel for some meals. Last time the food was great. This time it was really not good plus expensive. A lot of the food was cold or overcooked. We went three times, and it was the same every time. It would have been nice to have something other than the buffet available-just to be able to order something specific, especially when you have young kids that are picky.
