Turkey Run Inn & Cabins

I'll never be able to be too harsh with Turkey Run State Park Inn. I've been coming here for a half century. Memories are long and deep. The river and forests and ravines...eternal.

Over the years, the quality of the rooms has been steady and predictable...and a comforting return. The restaurant food has been more variable and it's difficult to understand its lack of movement toward healthier options, higher quality and better value.

Location of the Inn. Close to all the trails. Not crowded

Swimming pool out of order would have been nice to know when making reservations. Layout of the room was terrible. Disappointed to find out ALL of the other guests were there at 1/2 the price we paid. Had to apologize for being late to lunch, hours sign was on the floor behind the hostess station???

Large tv. Bed quite good. Fridge. Micro.

We don't do the breakfast anymore since a year or 2 ago. Not good. Love to see improved. Rudimentary chairs in room, not very comfy if spending much time in room. Of course, room size doesn't accommodate much better chairs. But rooms are priced for a much larger, better room.
