Hotel Donaldson

Hotel Donaldson exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was immaculate. They thought of every little detail down to earplugs, chocolates by the bedside at night and drawing the shades for us. The room was even better than the pictures show. And the LoDo was an excellent venue for the event I was hosting.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Donaldson. I had a corner room that had been renovated and was large and spacious. The property was seemed to be well-located.

In town for the Fargo Marathon, needed a pet friendly place to stay

Convenient and tasty breakfast and happy hour. You can grab stuff and take it up to your room. Anyway, who complains about free beer?

The steam room is just a one-person steam shower. Functional but a bit of a disappointment.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at the HODO! Such a great location and amazing property. Anyone can stay at a chain hotel…this place is special. The rooms are adorned with local artists / artwork and the accommodations are great. It says it’s a three star hotel…but our stay at the HODO surpasses many four and five star hotels we’ve stayed at in the past. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area too. And the BED!! So so dreamy!!!! Make sure to ask about the rooms - we took a mini tour of a few rooms that were available to see. Each one is different. There is a room w beautiful displayed local artist pottery, another w a gorgeous jacuzzi tub in the middle of room with cascading water from ceiling to fill it up! The interior of each room is a combo of old world brick and gorgeous contemporary features. The custom wood built in furniture is another plus. THANK YOU for an awesome experience! We will be back next time passing through.

Excellent Boutique hotel in downtown Fargo. A unique experience. The only problem was the bar downstairs held a karaoke night which was rather loud and kept us awake till after midnight on our 2nd night there. Not sure that issue could be resolved but we enjoyed the walkable location and solid service. Very nice!
