Friendly staff

There was rain coming into the room. Ground floor was messy and could use some cleaning.

It is a little old and needs interior makeover!

The owner was super, super nice! She sat down with us to explain us everything about how to get the tickets for the Ciudadela and the tumbs. We changed our plans and told her that we need to be one day less and she was so kind that said was not problem. She gave us recomendations about market, local food, good coffe...We book a motorbike that was good. She let US to leave the luggage there after we check out. The location IS perfect, just behind Ciudadela.

The hostel is family run and they really go out of their way to make you happy. The room was clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The location was great if you’re looking to visit the citadel. There was both AC and a fan. Their food was delicious so dine in when you can. They saved me money by telling me how to purchase a trajn ticket directly from the rail company instead of a third party website and also provided free transport the station. Overall, it was a great experience.

It can sometimes get noisy from the street and buses (property is adjacent to the citadel stage coach parking lot) but that’s nobody’s fault… just worth mentioning.

Amazing location near the citadel, and incredibly friendly staff. Our host was so helpful at pointing out the best things to do in Hue and helping with any issues we had.

Loved the proximity to the citadel and good cheap eats around. Enjoyed walking (20mins) over the bridge and along the river to more touristy areas for food and drinks. Friendly, helpful host. Comfiest bed we've had. Not an issue for us but the window of the room we stayed in opened into the stairwell, walls quite thin so could be an issue if there are noisy neighbours and a fridge would have been great. Rooms are basic and a little tired. However, for the price and the warmth of the host, we really felt it was value for money and would return if in Hue again.

Excellent location, probably one of the only places in the city where Hue walking street, Dong Ba night market and the Citadel are all within walking distance. The hosts were wonderful, we arrived early, they helped us plan our day in the city, gave us a map and local food suggestions. They helped us hire a motorbike. The breakfast was very tasty and great value for money. They let us stay an extra night with short notice which was great. The room was perfect for two, comfy beds, clean bathroom and good aircon. The family were so lovely and helpful, if we are lucky enough to return to Hue we will definitely stay here again.
