Mary Jane, her daughter, and the entire staff at Hotel Santo were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to assist me with a flight issue and even provided an extra towel for the Millennium Cave tour, which I truly appreciated. The entrance, reception, lounge, bar, and dining room are adorned with fabulous relics and charming décor, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The property boasts a beautiful garden and a tranquil swimming pool at the rear, ideal for relaxation.

"hotel is adequate, i had a disappointing experience in managing my booking."

location was great, facilities were fine and staff were friendly enough. The hotel manager disappointed me by being unwilling to deal with or even view two messages i had sent a week or more in advance of arrival (and could show them) asking to shorten my stay as my flight was delayed a day by the airline. I felt they just wanted the full booking, pretended they hadn't received the e-mails and wanted me to just pay and then go away.

my first messages to the hotel via booking.com for arrange a late check in got a positive response, however my subsequent messages to advise the airline had delayed my arrival flight by a day, which i sent two weeks and then a few days in advance of arrival (and meaning i needed to shorten my stay) - got no response. Upon arrival i was advised they never got the message (hmmm) and whilst i offered to show them the messages being sent on my booking.com app - they weren't interested in seeing them and wanted me to take it up with booking.com - so basically they weren't interested in shortening the booking and just wanted the full fee and referred me off to booking.com. Disappointing service upon first arrival - maybe there was a genuine disappearance of the e-mails (but i doubt that is the case) - however if the client can prove they were in fact sent - wouldn't you try and make some kind of accommodation?.

The grounds are beautiful. The pool is crystal clear. The hotel is situated right in the main street.
