"Worst stay of our vacation"

Besides the views there is nothing appealing about this place.

We couldn't shower properly as there wasn't hot water and the shower had no pressure at all. The water came out in a treacle. The place is in the middle of nowhere. We drove for 50kms on gravel road in darkness before getting there. There was no electricity when we got there and no communication that the generator will be switched off before we arrived. We hooted outside in the dark and nobody came out to assist us. My family was terrified. The unit is part of the next unit and has a two way mirror between the units, blocked off by a flimsy blind. We could hear everything from the unit next to us. The gas heater was not operational to warm the unit. This was one of the worst places that we stayed at during our vacation and I would never recommend it.

comfortable accommodation with beautiful views. great place to switch off and relax. location was nice and central, quick drives to Prince Albert, Cango Caves, Oudtshoorn etc. our daughter also loved having the animals on the farm.

there were some issues with the electricity connection when we were there. it just meant we had to contact the staff on occasions, but they always did their best to help us, no matter what the time. an isolated issue so unlikely it would be this way always.
