The Fern Seaside Luxurious Tent Resort Diu

Good view to see sun rise/set. Great experience to stay in the tent.

Event which lasted into late night and disturb the guest from resting. Water from the room and swimming pool tasted salty.

Too expensive for a night we were charged INR 12000 3 night 36000.00 same room on my make my trip was INR was 6000.00 per night please can you refund the rest of the balance yours sincerely mr manji & Susie Mauji

Overall property is good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tent quality and interior is good. Breakfast buffet has variety.

When we checked in, the tent was not clean. On request they did the cleaning. In house restaurant O Gusto does not serve any mocktail or Cocktail. (When asked they told us that Bar tender is on leave). Bar was closed. Ala carte Menu served at dinner is not up to the mark. Overall this is not as good as level of other Fern hotels. Not value for money. When we book Fern, we have certain expectations but Fern Diu does not meet the same..

The sea frontage was good and the rooms were spacious.

We were not told that the water supply was salty water and not safe. We were not contacted prior to arrival that there were private events that meant there would be loud blaring music till 11PM. The property had my email and could have let us know. Because of the private event we were initially told we could not use the restaurant and there was no offer made to drive us to a restaurant instead. I had to make a complaint and the manager instructed the restaurant to allow us. The lady managing the register at the restaurant was rude and arrogant. There were items on the menu which were just not available for the entirety of my stay - Rasamalai, which is a crowd favourite. The Gulab jamuns were small and like those from a can. All other staff were very polite, respectful and helpful. On the day of check out I rang and asked for someone to come for the luggage. No one came. Access to the beach was not easy. One has to walk quite a distance to get to the gate. Since the frontage to the beach is quite broad and spread out, there could be gates at other points to make it easier. People were climbing over the fence as a short cut, which would be impossible for the elderly.

The room was comfortable / the Aircon and Geyser worked well, the view and natural sorrounding were good

The tap water was quite miserable Mine being the last tent (#118), there was lot of outside vehicle noise thru the night The bathroom was bit smelly Had to ask for hand towels...not provided in the room For TV settings, had to repeatedly ask for assistance (finally got AFTER 3 rimenders and about 35 minytes - lost that much time for match watch!! Breakfast was quite disorganized (NOT upto FERN standards!!)
