An excellent boutique hotel that is entirely worth the price. Exceptional service, very well furnished, warm and spacious rooms, wifi, and a beautiful collection of books. It makes you feel at home! The ideal comfy stay in Leh before or after traveling Ladakh!

The hotel staff and owner are all very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The restaurant provided us with very good food every day. In my opinion, India is a challenging place to travel but our stay in Ladakh was 100% hassle free and enjoyable due to the hospitality and comfort found at the hotel. The owner provided us with useful information related to daily activities and a very nice driver and taxi for transport.

The breakfast was good. A generous selection of food was available each day with a heater in the room as the property overall was very cold. The staff were very attentive at all times and responded very well to any requests. The owner also tried hard to be friendly and chat with us and also to assist us as best he could with any information about Leh, Ladakh. The views of the snow capped mountains were beautiful.

We stayed from the 1st of April. The heating in the hotel could have been a lot better. It was very cold and the hot water generally took around 15 to 20 minutes to warm up which made brushing off teeth etc a very cold experience. There are several lounge rooms with loads of great books on the shelves but again they were generally too cold to sit in.The hotel staff did the best they could to keep our own room warm with hot water bottles, extra heater etc but once outside the room it was quite cold. Many of the shops and restaurants and cafes around the hotel were not open during our stay so it was a bit of a trek into the town each day to do anything . I think it is more of a summer hotel.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gomang Boutique Hotel from 1st to 5th of April 2023, and it was one of the most delightful hotel experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Let's start with the gorgeous view of the mountains from our room. Waking up to that view every morning was a treat in itself. And to add to the charm of the hotel, the walls were lined with books on every floor. As an avid reader and writer, I was in paradise. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We were welcomed to the hotel with a beautiful scarf as a gift since we were the first guests for the season. It was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel even more special. :) The rooms were equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a fantastic coffee machine with a milk boiler, tea, coffee, and even an iPad (which we didn't need to use). And the toiletries were such a nice touch! They included shampoo, body wash, lip balm, and body lotion, which was perfect for the cold and dry climate of Leh. But what really stood out for us was the attentive and caring staff. On the first night, I was feeling really cold, even with the heater on. The staff provided us with thick blankets and two hot water bags, and that made me so comfortable and warm. They also arranged for drivers for us to visit the monasteries and palaces around Leh, and they were professional and knowledgeable. And let's not forget the owner, Mr. Gurnam Singh. He was very hospitable and friendly, and he made us feel like we were visiting friends rather than staying at a hotel. The Gomang Boutique Hotel is a cozy nook in the lap of the mountains, about 15 minutes walk from Leh market. The food was delicious, the view was stunning, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Leh. It truly made our stay unforgettable.
