"Nice 5-star hotel situation in the middle of Leh."

After a 6-day motorbike tour through the Ladakhi countryside it was nice to be in a proper 5-star hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. Showers with hot running water. Well situation and only a few minutes away from Leh's main market street.

Breakfast was disappointing. It seems that going for breakfast @ 08:00am was too early for the staff. For example had to ask three times for milk for my cereals (bit difficult to eat them dry).

Excellent location- centre of the city, walking distance from market & every place. Neat and spartan rooms. Extremely sincere and cooperative staff. Special mentions for Chotte Lal ( hope I got his name right) and his team who cleaned rooms. Ms Tenzin Nyima and Ms Neelima were exceptional in helping with coordinating for pick up and drop of my nieces. These two ladies were just amazing. The hotel doesn’t have ACs and rooms don’t have a fridge. It was too warm for me but ok for others in our group. Ms Neelima had arranged for a fan that made it better for us.

No AC in room! Sorely missed in the last week of June 2023! Also, shower stall leaks water into toilet area - that was a bit of a pain. Nothing else apart from this.
