Beautiful place to stay, the staff are great especially the spa lady and the food was fantastic

Salt was an absolute delight, and incredible value for money. The property is lovely. Big, airy, beautiful room. Great pool. Delicious breakfast. The free 20-minute massage was terrific, and we paid (almost nothing!) for an additional hour. If you're a snorkeler, make sure you check out the underwater temple at nearby Jemeluk Bay. Our stay at Salt was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Indonesia!

The beach was unfortunately not nice, but the pool made up for it. Be aware that Grab doesn't service all of Amed, so you might find that you need to book a private taxi instead of a Grab to get to restaurants.

The ambience of Salt is lovely- not high end hotel but not budget either- the staff really do make the resort. We used the pool throughout the day especially when we returned from our day of touring on their rental scooter- it was pretty hot there during our stay. It's a little bit of a walk to other cafes/restaurants but you can always walk along the beach. Salt's restaurant also had a nice dinner menu ( best food we had in Amed) and their happy hour cocktails were great. Their breakfast has some healthy options which was appreciated and it can be delivered to your terrace.

The bathroom needed an update in our beachfront suite (Superior Suite w/ sea view). There was construction noise from the property next door, so all the rooms on the same side of Salt would have been affected. It went from about 8:30 am until about 8pm and one night until 11pm. If it weren't for these 2 things we would have rated Salt higher.

Rooms are big, beds are super comfy, and staying in Little Salt next door was no problem at all. You can reach the restaurant by walking inside the compound or you can reach it by walking the beach for 30 seconds. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, very quiet and relaxing. Shout out to all the staff at Salt!!! <3

The general staff was absolutely lovely. All staff from the bar/restaurant to the receptionist, to the pool cleaners: absolute hero's who tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Attentive, friendly, helpful! However, there was a 'general manger' (I assume) who treated the rest of the staff disrespectfully. So much so that it made us very uncomfortable. His presence did not add to the general atmosphere. Maybe he needs to be educated on how to manage the staff in a respectful way??? Just a suggestion!

Great location!! The staff were so good and helpful. The food was great!!! The rooms were nice and big and clean!!!!

Only booked for 5 nights - should have booked more!!!!

De villa ligt iets privé en heeft uitzicht op de zee, maar verwacht niet een echte villa..

Het achterstallig onderhoud, de gordijnen die laten alle zon door, maar wij moesten toch om 7 uur opstaan. The staff loste wel direkt alle problemen op qua rare stopcontacten en de sloten die niet opslot konden werden direkt vervangen. Wij waren in laag seizoen dus lage prijs dus dan klopt de verhouding wel, maar als we de echte prijs zouden betalen dan klopte het van geen kant zeker niet voor de luxe villa.. koken durfde we niet in de aangebrande gesmolten pannen. Hihi en het restaurant in het hotel was prima.. en staff dikke 10.
