I booked a luxury room 2 weeks in advance despite the price being highly inflated. I received both confirmation and a message from the staff. When I arrived, I was told that I could not get the room I had reserved because the management decided to do renovations there. However, even though I wanted 3 nights, I got this room for one night. But luxury is just a name to increase the price, because there is nothing of luxury there! One bed, sofa and that's it. Just one old shelf to put things on. Not to mention such luxuries as TV, refrigerator or air conditioner or even table, there is none of that. The water pressure in the shower is very, very weak. The outer walls are made of branches, with gaps, so in the evening, when it is dark outside and there is light in the room, anyone can watch everything you do there through these gaps.

Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Well kept beach area. Comfy sunbeds. Nice balcony

The shower was awful - just a pipe coming out of the wall. Flooded the bathroom and into the room. Lots of loose corroded fittings and stained toilet bowl. Towels also stained.

Very good place. Staff very friendly and helpful. Large rooms very clean. Very good breakfast included.

Looks nice in photos and staff is attentive and accommodating.

No hot running water, but this is understandable for the location and no where else has it in the area either.

The two men that run the place are the best! So nice and helpful . Gave us late breakfast because we sleep in. The Best arepas in Cartagena !! Small, quaint, need bug spray and water shoes. Beach lovely . Area shuts down pretty early so make sure you stock up on drinks and food. I asked for an extra fan they gave us one . Asked for a bottle of my preferred liquor they brought me one. I asked for help with my luggage they found someone. Take a boat there and back I do not suggest driving because the parking lot and the walk there is a struggle. I would go back . I paid for a massage the ladies walk right up to you. There is a lot of vendors but when you say no they go away it's not that big of a deal.
