Villa Pomona

The location is great with a short walk to the lake. Property is very nice and well kept.

Several things: -I found last guests items in an uncleaned drawer. -some drawers had hair from previous guest. -Everyday house keeping will come to clean the room. But the don’t really clean and just make the bed. -Sometimes they don’t fill in towels even (including very wet towels we had on the floor to keep water out of a leaky shower). -Housekeeping doesn’t fill in toiletries or toilet paper. I had to keep asking every day. -Laundry is $35. They didn’t return the laundry the next day. I had to go looking for it. Then it was missing socks. I had to ask for them to look for that too. They found them and returned them to me the next day no apologies. -The dinner at the other hotel was terrible. Expensive but the steak was worse than what we make at home. -Basically non existent service. It is unclear why this place is classified as 4 star. There is no service at the property at all. You do not get what you pay for here.

Villa Pomona is lovely comfortable hotel that is conveniently located in the heart of Bled. The renovated home is filled with luxurious touches; the decor is elegant. The pool was the perfect respite after hiking. My host provided great recommendations for dining and exploring including an invitation to attend a chefs tasting at her companion hotel in Bled, Villa Adora.

The check-in process was quick and effortless, and the villa was both comfortable and impeccably maintained. Our spacious room came equipped with most of the essential amenities. The staff, particularly the cheerful and attentive young lady overseeing the property, was delightful.

The breakfast didn't meet my expectations, and I would appreciate it if the staff could inform me in advance if any items I've requested from the menu are unavailable, allowing me to choose an alternative. While I understand that some items may be difficult to obtain at times, guests should always be informed.

Our stay at Villa Pomona was incredible. The property is wonderful and has a great view of the mountains. The high quality furniture is beautiful, and the marble bathroom is one of the greatest i have ever seen. The staff is also amazingly nice. They are super helpful and ready to make the extra mile to make your stay special. I forgot an important piece of clothe at the villa and they shipped it back to France. The location is also very nice, lake bled is at 5 min by foot. If you want a romantic and amazing stay in bled, do not think twice and book your room.

Really beautiful room, super spacious and great location. Sauna was the cherry on the top when the weather wasn't great!

Being very picky - the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly - we found a sock and tablets from the last guest on the floor.

We only wish we were staying longer. This place is perfect.

Very original interior of the hotel (a mix of classic and modern). Comfortable and cosy. Free parking in front. Quiet location within 5 min walking distance to lake Bled.
