Cozy Homestay Waterfall Road Ella

We spent a wonderful three nights here. The breakfast was delicious and different each day, fresh fruit, omelettes, hoppers and pots of tea. The family were friendly and very helpful. Our train was 3 hours late arriving in Ella so the manager picked us up in his tuk tuk. There are lovely walks and when sitting on the veranda you feel as if you are in the jungle. The bird life is amazing just beware of the monkeys! Great views of the waterfall.

View is breathtaking and breakfast was always delicious. The centre is within a walking distance by using the shortcut.

Its only 10min walk to the center and the hotel is close to the waterfall and Ella rock. Very nice stuff! What a beautiful view to the waterfall from our room. Also you can just sit and watch the birds flying by.

Beautiful view of a waterfall, clean rooms, very nice family. One of the best places we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. They were very helpful with calling Tuktuks for us anytime we needed. Breakfast was nice with a view as well.

The homestay is in a fantastic location. If you like eating your breakfast while over looking a jungle full of life and a waterfall this is the perfect location. Little bit of a bug problem but again it’s in the jungle so what do you expect. Overall brilliant homestay.

Beautiful view from the excellent balcony. Helpful and friendly host and delicious breakfast. Shower a bit cramped, but really not a problem.

Local breakfast was divine, especially the chocolate rotis! The mother and son that own this place were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The walk into the city is only around 5-10 mins (there is a shortcut along the train tracks right by the homestay). The views from the balcony were AMAZING and we felt like we were in the middle of the jungle and could even see a waterfall from it.

The only thing we found was that the room wasn’t very soundproof so we could hear our neighbours

One of the best accomodation we had in sri lanka! The place is amazing, very clean and the family is friendly and helpful. The breakfast with the view was our favorite part!

- Owners were very kind and helpful. - Had an excellent view of the waterfall from our unit. - Breakfast was big, delicious and different each morning. - Room was very clean, big and spacious with a seating area and table. There was also a mini fridge, kettle, cups and spoons. - Patio had a table and chairs. - Bed, pillows and the big, warm duvet were all really nice and comfortable. - Big hanging rack with hangers in room. - Shower had hot water with ok pressure. Shampoo, body wash, handsoap and towels all provided.

The wall is very thin between the units so you can hear the other guest's conversations as well as loud snoring. Earplugs recommended for sleeping!

Slightly out of town up a quiet road, there is a shortcut into town along the railway line which visitors and locals both use. There was a stunning view from outside our room across the valley of an impressive waterfall which made breakfast a bit special. Only stayed one night, but host made us feel very welcome.
