The location

Fair price for tasty food and great portions. We were here in low season and had the place almost to ourselves.

The swimming pool seemed slightly cloudy and didn't look appealing to swim in. But we were assured it was safe.

The staff there are great people from the front desk to those in the kitchen. Very ready help and even gave us a tour around the town, this was Festus. It was worth it and I recommend anyone visiting Lamu to stay here. I love that its located in the town it gives a chance to interact with the locals as they go about their lives.

I was in love with Jannat house. Caroline and festus were amazing, so accommodating and kind. I had to unexpectedly cut my trip short and Caroline so helpful and really nice and understanding. Such a lovely person and host. The accommodation exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was delicious. Next time I am in Lamu, I will definitely stay here again.

Very good breakfast, good position, lovely terraces to chill out, GREAT FOOD. The staff nice and friendly.

The room was a bit small and dusty , the pillows far far to flat and hard, matress hard, no shower courtains so the shower water went all over the bathroom. Only 1 towel and 1 tiny soap per each guest. The Pool needed cleaning.

Historical building, i felt like a lord from another age Vintage in a good way. No new style features, only old fashion luxury Good breakfast
