Hotel Gandhara

Only the location is good about this hotel.

There are no good points apart from the location. They charged more than 3k per night, but there are no proper facilities available in the room. Everything is too old or doesn't work. The room was not very clean. Not at all value for money. The fridge, TV and the phone in our room didn't work. After complaining, the fridge was replaced as we needed to store prasadam from the temple. The fridge from the other room which was given to us seems to be very old but worked.

Approach of service person was good with the limited facilities

Improvement in facilities provided particularly the toilet fittings is necessary considering the cost

We were on the last floor of the building with the entire roof to ourselves, it was perfect. The room was small and a bit old but it was clean. The pool and the garden were great. Nice stay, maybe a bit overpriced though

It's quiet and peaceful...A little pool , trees and plants...no crowd It's like a home

Rooms are smal

Polite staff and neat and clean rooms. The hotel is just 2 mins waking distance from the beach. Auto rickshaws are available right out side the hotel. The hotel is 15 mins distance from Puri Temple.

The service at this hotel was excellent. All staff members were warm, welcoming, helpful and efficient. The chef prepared pure vegetarian food especially for me, which was greatly appreciated. Rooms, bed linen and all areas were clean. Laundry service. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe at this hotel.

The safe in my room didn’t work and only one power point was working.
