Hotel Gandhara

We enjoyed the poolside sitting area with it's scores of blooming potted plants and a wonderful stately Mango tree that provided welcome shade. The pool was cleaned multiple times daily and was refreshing. The housekeeping staff was hard working and kept our room and our balcony spotless. The attached restaurant was clean and catered to individual tastes. We did use the Gandhara Travel Agency and he was able to book some flights for us that we were having trouble with online. We stayed at the Hoel Gandhara for nine nights. It began to feel like a second home.

The hotel is on a main thoroughfare . The auto rickshaw drivers do not spare their horns. Numerous dogs roam the neighborhood and assert themselves.

Excellent staff, they really work hard keeping this place clean. Friendly, helpful and great customer service. We had a great dinner in the restaurant.

Safe wasn't secure.

A nice little hotel, near the centre of the village. Do nice and helpful staff. Really nice and clean. Excellent beds. The garden with pool was a real retreat.

Gandhara hotel it is as usual a guarantee of a clean and safe oasis in town. The rooms are simple but well equipped. Nice continental breakfast and swimming pool a plus!

We liked the pool area, and the fact that we could drink there. The building architecture was nice too. The food was pretty good.

The staff were not very hospitable; didn't seem very interested in their jobs. Never saw them smiling even. The front desk lady was polite though.

The bathroom in the heritage room was spacious and clean. There was a cafe on-site that provided western style foods for breakfast and snacks. There was also a swimming pool with outside seating areas which were reasonably secluded from street noise.

The hotel is located smack-bang on the main road which is noisy and chaotic due to heavy traffic at all hours. The TV channels for English viewers were very limited and difficult to control using the remote. Also there was only one plug socket other than the one used for the TV.

Clean room, nice garden with a clean pool. Helpful staff, good restaurant.

A/C unconfortably low over the bed and noisy, some electric connections not working (eg. at the fridge). The water drain in the bathroom was far from perfect.
