Grey House Monkey Forest

Spacious room nice and clean. Close to everything. Really enjoyed the stay.

Great location, right next to monkey forest sanctuary. Room was basic but clean. AC, wifi and pool were all good. Overall good value for money.

Bed wasn’t the most comfortable and there was no cover on the duvet.

Location was good and staff were very friendly.

Bathrooms were dirty and bed didn’t have a full set of linen only for the mattress.

Look it was basic but for the price compared to other places our friends stayed in there is nothing to complain about. No bugs, no smells, the bed was huge and comfotable, the aircon worked well, it was so very central with great bars restaurants cafes at the doorstep and some great music to be enjoyed from some on the Friday night. We were on the 1st floor with a balcony overlooking the street but the noise from the traffic & the bars was not too loud and didn't stop us from sleeping. We didn't try the pool but it looks great!

Some pics on booking.com showed a different room to the one we were in and I just think it would be good to see the exact room you're getting when you book.

Location was very central. Rooms were very spacious. Large double bed (not essential as I was travelling alone) Fridge and kettle and great Aircon.

Very thin walls, indeed one wall was entirely glass, with a metal door, which amplified ANY and indeed ALL noise from outside the room. Late night revellers returning, hotel staff playing a guitar at 2am and talking loudly outside the office. My room was directly above the office. I am admittedly a light sleeper so couldn’t sleep, however, if you can sleep through anything, then this place would be great. The shower head was placed in a position for a giant, and had seen better days, so hardly any water actually came out of it. There was no hot water on my arrival at 1.30am after 24 hours travelling which was a shame.

Location is good

Not well maintained, toilet bowl is dilapidated, there's spider web in the toilet, stained floor. We upgraded to suit still same problem apart from no phone, no simple utensils like teaspoon. When I went to reception, no person to assist, come back thrice and still no one present 😞
