I loved my stay at Banana Home Stay. The family that lives there is so incredibly welcoming, friendly, and generous. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the shower had reliable hot water. The view from the balcony is beautiful, looking over the houses in the main center of Ubud. I had a scooter, but if you don't, it's a very easily walkable location to the center of Ubud, and to the Yoga Barn. I was staying here for a month-long yoga teacher training at Yoga Barn, and the location was perfect for me, 2 minutes by scooter to Yoga Barn each day. The room was quiet despite the homestay being right on the road. Every night the family would bring me a thermos of hot water and some Bali coffee and tea so that I could have a cup before going to the training early each morning. They also have a little shop on the ground floor where I bought bananas (very cheap!) and fresh whole coconuts to drink. There is no kitchen or fridge for guests, but I didn't need this as most of the time I was eating at Yoga Barn, or grabbing dinner at one of the many wonderful Ubud restaurants. I can highly recommend staying here. It's great value, and worked for what I needed, a safe, peaceful, comfortable place to sleep while I was busy elsewhere during the daytime. If I'm ever back in Ubud, I'll definitely return to Banana Home Stay. Thank you for a wonderful month at your home!

Wifi worked like 80% of the time inside the room (the signal is not super strong inside the room). But it worked enough for me, given that I wasn't home most of the day, and the signal is strong and works well if you sit outside the room at the table on the balcony. But that's it. Truly a wonderful place to stay.

It's a family-style residence, the auntie is very friendly, I like it here so I renewed my lease.

Accommodation in the center of Ubud. Finding anything nearby doesn't take much time. Such as: restaurants, selling (watermelon, banana, young coconut, banana) in front of the house, coffee shop, mini market, ATM, monkey forest. And of course, the friendly family makes me feel like I'm at home surrounded by good people.
