"All you need."

My wife and I stayed here from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th May. Clean room, comfy bed, TV, Tea and Coffee supplied, nice clean Toilet and Shower. Does what it needs to do. No complaints, would reccomend as it's in the Heart of York, next to the Shambles. We will return.

"Night away"

Wasted money . Live band playing until 11.30 at night which we were only told about on arrival . Filthy carpet . Wardrobe door had to be forced open as dragging on carpet . Filthy bedside tables . Bed was broken . Single glazed window over the drinking tables outside which we could hear all the shouting and to top a crap night's sleep we were woken up at 8.30 by a window cleaner cleaning the window . Absolute nightmare . Would never go back to this place . Disgusting . Totally ruined one of our rare times away .

"Really nice food."

We sat down by chance on a really hot easter Saturday. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I had a BLT bagette which was really fresh and the lettuce and tomato were also very fresh. Wife had a ceasar salad which was, again, very fresh and a large portion. We would be happy to go back
