My room was clean and tidy and dark so I slept well

The view, although the bed was at the window with the headboard against it. The shower was good. The location is good, plenty of buses nearby, plenty of places to eat and about a 15 minute walk to the railway station.

The bed in room 7 had a broken headboard. The stairs were steep and and narrow as described, it doesn't tell you they also turn rather sharply at the top. Rather daunting with a large suitcase. The shower power chord was a bit short. There are no switches inside the bathroom despite a sign saying so. If you want to know where to meet if there was a fire, you would have to peel off the notice telling you the breakfast times and discount. They replenished the milk for tea in the room with enough milk for 4-6 cups of tea, but only left two tea bags for two people to last until the following day. They don't tell you where to hand in the key if you leave early. I left my room key on the bed in room 5 (I had to throw it). I heard the cleaner in the bathroom, but the cleaner couldn't hear me. The bed was two bases not joined together very well, the mattress was a bit hard. It was a lot of money for what we got for it. We couldn't afford the meals. It was £180 for two nights, not including breakfast. A Tesco Meal Deal was enough. It was cheaper in Wetherspoons for two meals and two alcohol drinks and a soft drink than one meal there. The floor was also rather uneven throughout the room. The room we had looked nothing like the photos they have posted on this site. The furniture was rather tatty.

Location was excellent, bed was comfy and sheets were nice and clean and fresh.

Broken window, covered with a piece of board. pigeons outside the window all night, making lots of noise, shower hose was filthy black bits everywhere when taken off the stand.
