Plum and Partridge Husthwaite

Lovely room and bar areas.quiet location. Food was really good. Friendly staff. Room was refreshed daily. Lovely toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. Popular bar eating areas.

Some issues with flies in both the room and the eating areas which was a shame. Apparently we were placed in a an accessible room, which had a wet room and rainfall shower but no normal shower hose and head unfortunately.

Sadly the food wasn’t great. Breakfast was good, although the roasted tomato wasn’t roasted at all. Had a meal the night we arrived and sadly it wasn’t great

The room was a good size with an extremely comfortable large bed and nicely furnished. The accompanying bathroom was large and clean. The food was very good and they have obviously got an excellent cook

Very poor staff attendance when we had our evening meal. There were bits of food on the floor from previous diners. The eating area resembled a canteen more than a restaurant and the only thing that was missing was a bottle of tomato ketchup on each table
