Great location at the top of the mountain. Plus the dome we stayed in was perfect. It was private, with a jacuzzi and an incredible view. Erica was so accommodating and friendly.

Beautiful place in the mountains with excelent views. Spending noghts there were so relaxing. Great breakfast, great beef on the wine for the dinner. Loved that place

The location of the property is amazing. The room was very nice with a beautiful Mountain View. The bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi was really nice and the bathroom spacious. The owner/ employees were very nice.

The food is expensive for what you receive.

The most amazing relaxing spot up in the hills, surrounded by trees and birds, the view was unbelievable. We had a lovely breakfast sat on the terrace in the sunshine and delicious dinner served in the restaurant or in the room - our choice. There was a small crack in one of the domes panels which as soon as we raised the staff came and did a fix. They also did a fabulous job of cleaning the room (which we didn’t expect on Xmas day and had left bags and clothes everywhere). A perfect relaxing stay with great hosts.

More a consideration, and shouldn’t put you off booking but you don’t get high in the hills without a journey! I don’t think we had appreciated from previous reviews the real remoteness and dirt track access which we did both by 4x4 and motorbike taxi (which was arguably better!!) but for this reason may not be suitable for older people or people of a nervous nature! Minca town is also a 30-40 min drive away (due to the condition of the road) but we did a great trek down to it via a waterfall but probably a 2-2.5 hr walk.

The way the staff handled the situation of broken glass. there was no customer service and felt scared for life with the boisterous attitude of the other staff.

This gem is a must hidden in the mountains around Minca. The rooms are huge with the hot tub on the balcony allowing you to watch the jungle as you relax. And breathtaking views from every angle. As this is so far away from town it really feels like you are experience the true wildlife. The owner made this stay that extra bit special, the communication was the best I have had at any stay, with assistance with booking transport, to arranging our evening meals. It is a small hotel with just a few rooms so you are really getting that extra personal touch. The breakfast and evening meals were amazing. Please do not hesitate to stay here.

The location is amazing, you really feel tucked into the mountains. The food is good and not expensive. Mariposa was very lovely and helpful.

There were things that were very overpriced for what you were offered, like their tours (but even the taxi prices they quoted were 2x what others did) and as others have reported the bug situation inside the rooms is not great. Given the condition of the road, it is very isolated so you have to pay quite a lot to partake in the main activities in the area.
