Jayaa Beach

Great owner who is very kind and will do everything to make your stay comfortable. Location is top, next to turtle beach (even offseason (august) we saw some turtles) and a couple minutes busride from unawatuna. Bus stops next to the hotel and there ks a small supermarket within 50mtrs. Room is big enough and very clean, shower looks fairly new and is clean and has a good stream. Stayed here for 3 nights and can really recommend it.

The location was perfect - our room had a sea view and the beach was just a few steps away.The owner was super-helpful and didn't stop smiling 😁. The shared kitchen area was convenient for breakfast and for eating snacks we brought back. There is a well-stocked supermarket just over the road for drinks and essentials. Rooms were clean and cool, and bathrooms had good water pressure. There are excellent restaurants within a couple of minutes walk in either direction.

Nothing - everything was great.

The location is strategic, close to town, and surrounding there hotel’s that provide f&b.

There’s a common kitchen, and wasn’t aware. Borrowed their kettle to make hot drinks, it was filthy, I had to clean it prior using it. There’s only teo mini bar of soap provided, no shampoo, no bathtub as indicated. No hairdryer as well for the ladies. It’s not beach front as well, there’s a small alleyway heading to the beach behind the hotel. Balcony can’t see the sea view as it’s blocked by the beautiful bamboo grown by the hotel.

Clean rooms and comfortable staying. Outside summer kitchen to cook and have a meal. Couple of bars and restaurants in the nearby. Turtle beach with turtles and bars.

The owner is awesome, friendly and always willing to make sure we were having a perfect stay. The hotel is very well located and we found it very safe, providing slot to park our car. I would recommend it to everyone, keeping in mind the the value for money expectations. Small and humble facilities, more than enough to have a great time!! By the way, on the beach in front of the hotel, you can see turtles!!

Everything was perfect!

Big room with AC and fan, clean and modern bathroom (looks like new). The location is great! Access to the beach right behind the property (turtle watching spot & natural pool, safe to swim!), a good restaurant next door a small supermarket across the street. Unawatuna town with more restaurants & shops is a short tuk-tuk ride away (don't pay more than 400 LKR - April 2023). You can also easily get to Galle either by bus or by tuk-tuk (20-25min). Perfect location to visit the area but stay at a nice beach, I recommend it :)

The kitchen area outside is great but the cabinets and the fridge definitely need cleaning.
