The hotel needs renovation.

A simple hotel with clean rooms and reasonable facilities which all worked well and we had a comfortable stay there - no complaints & good value for the money paid. Breakfast was great - a huge tray full of all sorts of breakfast foods was brought to our table for us to feast on - fresh, plentiful and yum ! Location of the Vego is excellent - right in the city centre next to or within a short walk of the all of the main city sights. We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Vego and considering the limited options for decent hotels in Ganja this is probably one of the best options (certainly THE best in terms of location!). Would happily recommend and would stay again if in Ganja.

The hotel is overpriced in comparison to its poor service. In our room, there was not even enough toilet paper and towels. Breakfast (it was not even an open buffet despite the price) was served with very low-quality products in broken tableware.

The location of hotel is over the top. Right in the centre of the city. Very close to everywhere. But the facility itself, service, hotel staff is the worst that I ever seen. Stayed with my family over the night in summer time. Air cond. was not working in whole hotel when we checked in. Receptionest sayed it was due to issues on power supply. 2 hrs later it started working but it was so weak that the room was boiling even until midnight. A junior team of a local footbal club (fc Sabah) settled in the hotel at the evening and these spoiled youngster were shouting/swearing all the night in corridors. I ended up with complaining to their upbringer or trainer whoever he was. Expressed my frustration to hotel administrator as well. Need to admit that he was trying to cease my annoyance during the breakfast with extra care. Breakfast was not that special. WiFi was very poor. Overall not a good experience...

After the wedding party, we were too tired to drove back to Baku, so we wandered almost all the hotels of Ganja in downtown. The most praised hotel of Ganja, Vego Hotel, was not so much welcoming and great as it used to be, probably. The Front Desk employee even was not welcoming and started asking questions such as, "Why is my spouse's surname is not same as mine?" and kind of suspecting us in crime and behaving little bit like a prosecutor. The room needs to be refurbished and maintenance of hotel is not so good. Sleep experience was bad, as there is a Chiller or Generator of Power working non-stop and you can hear it all the time. Breakfast was so-so, nothing special, most products are purchased from the super market. Bedsheets are all in holes, they didn't even have the spare one to replace. So, anyways, I dont think I could recommend this hotel to anyone.
