We were in a time bind and it was in the heart of town

Where to begin? The lady at the front window, yes, window, not counter or desk, did not seem to understand there was a room booked online, not on the phone or a walk-in. She had to get help from the back and he even had to call his boss on the phone to give us our room. The room was way in need of repair. The vinyl baseboard molding was hanging off the wall for several feet, the air conditioner face was falling off, the room looked like it hasn't been kept up for 30 years, there was 1 pillow on the double bed, luckily it was only one occupant anyway. There was no TV, fridge, or microwave. We only took this room out of desperation as we were out of time and had to find a room for a transient man we know. When we picked him up (he stayed 2 nights), I noticed the toilet wasn't flushing and opened the tank to operate it by hand and the insides were all mickey-moused by somebody who doesn't know what they are doing or just doesn't care. As I look back, I think this room gets rented more by the hour than the day.

The price

I was locked in my room for two hours because the door lock was jammed. I had to jump out the window and then back in to in jam it myself. There was used soap with body hair all over it in the shower. Nobody was at the front desk for over forty minutes while o was tired and waiting to be checked in

I didn't like the floor is not being clean no TV I mean the room was just nasty and dirty I'm really bad

The location was close to the GI-Excellence facility where I had an endoscopy scheduled.

Everything -- the heater didn't work. There wasn't anything that qualified as a blanket on the bed -- the thinnest coverings I've ever come across. There were holes in the walls. The bath water nozzle was ajar and the knob for switching to shower mode was missing. No trash can.
