Sunflower Guest House Luxor West Bank

I had a great time at this family-run guesthouse! Youssef and Adam are great hosts and totally not pushing to sell. The courtyard was very nice and relaxing, just what you need after the crowded eastbank. I organised my airballoon trip and drivers for the different valleys via Adam. I highly recommend. Thanks gents, it was a pleasure!

Lo staff molto accogliente e familiare

客引きが少ないエリアにあるため、ゆっくりできた。

ネズミの糞が壁や床に数ヶ所付着していた。シャワーはぬるいお湯しか出ず、夜が肌寒い1月に滞在していたためシャワー時が辛かった。すぐ近くにモスクがあり、放送があるたびに大きな音が入ってくるため、目が覚める。

Ottimo ristorante tipica locanda egiziana, stanza modeste ma con acqua calda, aria condizionata e luce ben funzionanti, comodo ad un bellissimo ed economico servizio di traghetto e a diversi negozi, bar inclusa farmacia. Cordialissima la gesitione con possibilità di concordare gite di ogni tipo.

La pulizia della stanza è molto carente ed in linea alla trascuratezza delle strade del quartiere (spesso sterrate) e dell' intera città. Tassisti e venditori ambulanti un poco invadenti anche se la città è sicura e presidiata dalle forze dell' ordine.

Friendly hosts, clean, comfortable beds, lots of hot water, plenty of tasty Egyptian food, quirky courtyard setting. Close to ferry, ideal for visiting archaeological sites. Hosts able to organise taxis, tours, activities etc. Friendly locals.

Overall happy, no major issues.

Place, atmosphere

Location was good; quiet; cute. Staff were great. Close to ferry and good food. Away from the hub-bub of East Bank.

A bit old and run down and the room smelled a bit of sewerage, but it was ok. I only slept and showered there so it didn’t really bother me.
