Amica House

The family are so lovely and very helpful. The food is amazing and made fresh each evening. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! The location is beautiful.

The host Hong and her sons were very accommodating and welcoming. The views from the house were stunning, breakfast was filling and the family dinners of a nighttime were a great way to meet fellow travellers.

The walls were a bit thin so sound did carry between rooms

Best place to stay in Sapa ! Avoid the town, very touristy, very crowded, very expensive prices as well! At Amica House, stay with the family, have family dinner, go on a trek with the son, talk to them at night to know better about the culture. I stayed 5 nights, could have stayed longer. The food is incredible, the room have such amazing views, like the entire house. Highly recommend!!

I don’t even know where to begin with this amazing homestay. I really felt like I stayed at home. The host is very friendly, caring and hospitable, here to help with anything. My room with balcony was a dream, very cosy, with beautiful view that you can enjoy straight from the bed. Balcony has a hammock to chill. Area is quite remote but it just added up to the experience as I felt right in the nature. Nearby is a cute village that you can explore. They are doing family dinners in the evening and it’s the most tasty food I had on my travels in Vietnam. Son of a host runs free walking tours around village to explore hidden gems. All of them speak good english and are always up for a nice conversation. Absolutely everything was perfect with my stay and I can’t recommend it more!

Hong and her family were so helpful and amazing hosts. They went above and beyond. We had a blast staying in beautiful Lao Chai and it’s been our favorite home stay yet! We opted in for the family dinner and the hike around the village, both amazing. Hong’s cooking is the best!! The room was nice and had everything you could need.

Very welcoming family in a beautiful location. So yummy breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere in the house is very relaxed and social. The older son did a 3 hour free walk with us and other guests which was very beautiful.

The bed was quite hard but it doesn't seem to be the same with other beds.
