The family of this homestay is so wonderful, the mom is running the place together with their two intelligent and funny sons and staying there gives you the full Vietnamese guests experience - family dinners with the best homemade food, perfect easy breakfast, lovely conversations about the country and the lives of the people there. The location is also super beautiful, laying in the midst of the rice fields - this is a calm village surrounded by nature. The big windows of the homestay give you that inside/outside feeling, living close to the beautiful nature. This is perfect if you need a calm, authentic and warming homestay experience and also if you're a bit sick of the super touristic annoying vibe in Sapa city. Although you of course have touristic infrastructure in the village it is much calmer and you can feel the vibe of the village people. We loved staying there and would highly recommend

Staying with Hong and her family was just amazing! I stayed in the dorm and really enjoyed waking up by the window and sitting on the balcony with the amazing view! Every night I joined the family dinner and it was just the BEST food I’ve had in Vietnam. Great selection of everything. The breakfast, which is included, is also great. The son also took us on a free trekking tour for 4 hours, which was the highlight! Highly recommend ✨😍 thanks for having me!

Everything! Seriously, stop comparing to other places and go ahead and book it! For the onces that need more convincing: We originally booked for 3 nights, we stayed 8. We planned on doing the family dinner once, we had it every night. The family is extremely welcoming. Amina is a great host and cook (best breakfast we had anywhere in Asia). The hike with Minh was fun and off the beaten path. Nick is just the most adorable dog ever. During the family dinners you will not just meet the family, but travelers from all over the world to share stories and explore the area together. Our room was fantastic. Amazing views, big windows, big balcony, comfy bed, warm shower and even a big flat screen TV with Netflix. WiFi is stable and really fast (I had multiple online video calls). The house is close enough to the little villages to quickly get something when needed, but far away enough to be quiet. You will be provided with fresh drinking water and even boots for rainy days. Booking a transport to/from Sapa is CHEAPER with them then even calling Grab (and the taxi will not get lost, like our Grab driver). We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will always come back when we are in Vietnam.

The family dinner is great, and the host is absolutely amazing. The location in the middle of the rice fields makes it worth it. I'd definitely stay again.

I chose this homestay because of the views and the reviews. It didn't let me down in any respect. The food was varied, plentiful, and delicious. The room size was excellent and the views were just gorgeous. So quiet. So beautiful. The family were just amazing in every way... super helpful, always friendly and caring. Minh's trek was excellent.

Amica House is amazing! By far the best place we have stayed in Vietnam. We had the room with the balcony and it was incredible. The views were breathtaking. The family were so lovely and we enjoyed a delicious dinner with them. You must stay here in when visiting Sapa.

It was a really great, accommodation, the view, the host. We received a very warm welcome. We had the room with the balcony and the view to the rice fields. It was really amazing and unique. Also the host family was very nice and If I had any questions they helped me and I had a lot :-) we also had very good tours through them. We can absolutely recommend it.

I'd give 12/10 if I could! Hong and her family are the nicest people I've ever met. The location is stunning. Hong adapted the breakfast for my dietary requirements and it was delicious. The family dinners were a great way to meet the other people staying in the hostel, and the food was varied and very tasty. I especially liked the hot pot. The bed was very comfy. The free guided trek was really really good! We loved the dog & cat

Best place to stay in Ta Van for a intimate small scale mountain experience! The family running it it super sweet and speak great English. The food is yummy! Easy to meet and bond with the other guests.
