Hotel Gaon Golden Park Dongdaemun

Great location near several stations and within walking distance of several landmarks. Good value for money, friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable. Nice firm beds.

Shabbier than how it looks on photos. No kettle in the room, no curtain shower (but plenty of shower space so it was not really a problem).

The location of the hotel within a busy market area means noise disturbances from people working through the night. There is also very poor soundproofing in the building itself, I could hear every time somebody flushed the toilet in a different room. The room fittings were very spartan and functional and the beds were hard. The air conditioner was very loud and you were left with a choice of either sweating, listening to people packing boxes beneath your window or trying to ignore the drone of the AC. I slept in total about 5 hours over three nights.

We was very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. We arrived earlier than 15:00 and we were immediately checked into the room. The room was clean, mattresses and pillows were comfortable. Near Dongmyo subway station, shops and restaurants

Good location, and good value, receptionists are helpful

The window is a little small but acceptable.
